    Dr. Annalisa Bracco (GA Tech) and her students from the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech; Sabrina Grossman, Marion Usselman, and Will Jimerson from CEISMC; and Emily Davenport (ECOGIG outreach staff) brought the Ocean Discovery Zone exhibit booth to 7th grade students at Cowan Road Middle School, in Griffin, GA on Thursday October 20th, 2016.

    AMP-IT-UP Robotics and Engineering Program Director Jeff Rosen along with three engineering teachers from Griffin-Spalding Schools will present "The New Power Tool: Student Generated Data" at the 2016 ITEEA Conference.

    The First LEGO League (FLL) Regional Tournament was held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Carver Road Middle School.

    As part of the AMP-IT-UP initiative and Georgia Tech’s Georgia InternFellowships for Teacher (GIFT) program, several Griffin-Spalding County School System (GSCS) teachers and high schools students spent their summer immersed in hands-on STEM internships.
